Conor Sloan: Fanning the Flames of CampFire’s Success

Local leader secures a coveted spot on Greenville’s exclusive “40 Under 40” list.

CampFire Greenville’s visionary business manager, Conor Sloan, has been recognized as one of Greenville’s most distinguished young leaders. Recently profiled in Greenville’s “40 Under 40” publication, this 25-year-old former Furman soccer player continues to score big for both CampFire Greenville and local businesses, alike.

Sloan, a Paladin alum, leads CampFire Greenville—a local, cutting-edge marketing agency dedicated to elevating and equipping Greenville small businesses with strategic coaching, digital advertising and key rebranding insights.

In just two short years under Mr. Sloan’s leadership, CampFire Greenville has added 25 local businesses to its client roster, including well-known Greenville hotspots like 13 Stripes Brewery, VIVA Chicken and Topsoil, as well as beloved non-profits, such as the GVL Zoo Foundation, Food Executive Women and Cultivate Sports. All this, while growing his CampFire Greenville’s staff by 166.7%.

As sister agency to RingoFire—which was designated as the “5th-Fastest Growing Agency in the World” by AdWeek in 2021—CampFire Greenville’s steady, sustained success continues to impress and inspire RingoFire’s senior leadership team.

“We love what we’ve seen from CampFire Greenville since Conor’s taken over,” says RingoFire’s Founder and CEO, Brian Stearns. “His drive and determination, combined with his natural business acumen and leadership, have blazed a fantastic new growth trajectory for both CampFire Greenville and RingoFire.”

Mr. Sloan believes his “40 Under 40” distinguishment is a direct testament to everything CampFire Greenville has accomplished thus far—but the best is yet to come.

“It’s truly an honor to be named amongst Greenville’s top young leaders,” says Mr. Sloan, “but we’re far from done. CampFire Greenville is just getting started and I’m excited to see where we can take this thing!”

And so, if recent history is any indication, Mr. Sloan will continue bringing the flash and firepower local Greenville business owners will need to take their small biz to the next level for years to come
